Specialization is for insects. Life’s adventures can place sudden demands on you physically that proper training can prepare you for.  As a fully actualized individual you would be strong, powerful, quick, balanced, flexible, mobile, all with endurance. Could you run fast, swim far, jump high, climb if needed, or fight powerfully and gracefully if you were called upon to “respond”?  Does your fitness training make you more capable in all of these arenas? Do you know your breaking point, do you know what you can’t do? Is your training moving you in the right direction? Knowing the answer to these questions makes you more useful in an emergency, makes you a more capable protector. You are where you are but you can go and grow to whatever point you desire with hard and smart work!  Ninja don’t “diet and exercise”, we “Eat and Train”!
